SPACE TO DREAM

We are interior and architectural designers. We use spaces to tell magical stories of success, adventure, travel, discovery and most of all, a story for living life to the fullest. It is our ambition to help clients expand their own sense of style that reflects their passions, confidence and personality.

We believe your interior must reflect what matters most to you. It must be exceptional. We help you realise the space for modern life. We empower you to take chances and achieve extraordinary results.

Arts and Craftsmanship

We invite you to welcome the Arts into your interior through existing or commissioned pieces from the best artists. We see no limits to re-exploring historical materials or rare crafts and building them into contemporary designs. The result can be rough and luxurious, modern and vintage, established and vanguard.

Scandinavian & French Loft, London

The Brief:

We were asked to re-organise and completely refurbish a 2 bedroom flat into a flexible 1 bedroom open plan apartment. The style would be a mix of ex-industrial loft, and clear scandinavian vibe and luxurious touches

Our Analysis:

Access to light together with optimising space usage were the most important issues to consider.
The view from the flat was attractive and had to be preserved from all main parts of the flat.

The Result:

Together with the Client we came to an elegant solution involving an atelier-type internal glass partition, a complete walk-in dressing room and made to measure joinery.

Glamourous Bathroom, London

The Brief:

We were asked to create a family bathroom in a relatively awkward room. We had to keep the fireplace and making sure we had space for a double basin, a bath and toilet pan. An mid-century antique mirror that the Clients already possessed was to be used.

Our Analysis:

The mid-century mirror and its edges inspired us towards the Hollywood golden age. We exploited the angular shape of the room using bespoke joinery adding curves and hidden storage.
As the fenestration was ample enough and the ceiling high we made use of darker tones for the floors, window and worktops to introduce strong contrast and focus the attention to the inside of the room

The Result:

The Clients received the bathroom with glee and adore the glamour pervading it. We have made full use of the space and created a room with Ethos and Gumption that is also calm and relaxing.

French Art Deco Boudoir

The Brief:

Create an boudoir/home-office taking inspiration from the existing Art Deco features. We had already determined with the clients that this space together with the ensuite and the master bedroom, would constitute private quarters. They remain separate from the rest of the house and the guests.

Our Analysis:

The large window lets in a lot of light due to its southern exposure. It could easily support the addition of stained glass panels with great prismatic effects all year round.
We kept and lovingly restored the rustic terracotta floor and the mantelpiece. They inspired our choices for switches, mouldings, lighting and tonal choices: sage green, contrasted pewter paint and chrome. Sourcing an original 1930s skyscraper stove from a neighbour's completed the picture and added authenticity.

The Result:

A calming haven with touches of glamour. The perfect place to write on a desk or read the newspaper in a club chair as the wood crackles in the fire.

A Vintner's Kitchen, Burgundy

The Brief:

We were briefed to create an open plan kitchen & dining room that had soul and confidence as part of the refurbishment of a vintner's house in Burgundy w. The clients love to entertain and the design had to reflect it.

Our Analysis:

We were determined to preserving as much of the old building as possible without compromising on comfort. We removed all existing internal walls and started afresh. We installed pulsated air conditioning and insulation.
We discovered an impressive 18th century ceiling and preserved original encaustic tiles and pitchpine flooring. We used a self supporting floor above and exploited the space created for soft lighting. We sourced an Art Deco cast iron range. A granite worktop adds a touch of luxury and warmth.

The Result:

We are proud to have kept the inner spirit of the place, rustic and also established. It is great both for entertaining and for peaceful contemplation
